Location: Hybrid working – home and in SWA offices (Edinburgh)
Contract: Temporary contract - 5 days per week for 6 months
Salary: pro rate equivalent of £20K per annum

This is a temporary contract which is expected to last for 6 months to join the Corporate Services team which provides administrative support across the business, as an Administrative Officer. This role will provide support for the Industry Team assisting in delivering the Webinar programme, providing access to supporting materials on the HUB, preparing surveys and collating data and arranging meetings and other fixtures for the team. You will also provide reception cover spending 2 or 3 days a week on reception dealing with enquiries, deliveries and greeting guests.
We are looking for someone who has strong expertise in MS Office, 365, TEAMS, who can work effectively independently and work flexibly and support the team, an energetic person with a variety of skills who doesn’t mind turning their hand to different tasks to help the team deliver for Scotch Whisky.
Your experience and skills:
- Expertise and confidence in Microsoft Office, 365, TEAMS is essential
- Administrative experience working remotely and in an office is essential.
- Good organisational and event management skills – virtual and in person
- Comfortable dealing with external contacts in a professional manner (including Government officials, SWA members and other stakeholders).
- Energetic and enthusiastic, an ability to work in a collaborative manner, across a geographical divide where necessary.
